Update #9


Update for those with access to the dev build on Steam.

Features

  • improved performance of interaction searches
  • added outline effect when hovering over buildable items
  • added options wheel. (Hold down right mouse button when hovering over a placed item. Move mouse in direction of required option and release mouse button)
  • options wheel can now open the items inventory
  • changed the way the inventories store items. Now any available slot can be filled, even if the previous slot is empty. (old save files won't load inventories)
  • added ability to combine items within inventory by dragging one item onto another
  • removed "x" from stack qty
  • increased stack qty font size
  • changed "bark" weight from 1.0 to 0.1
  • added level up notification / sound
  • reduced idle xp increment value

Bug Fixes

  • fixed a bug with getting the closest interaction. (get's the closest to a ray cast rather than closest to the player)
  • fixed a bug where you could still interact with placed building items when using GUI
  • fixed a bug where interaction icons / labels were still visible behind GUI
  • fixed a bug where switching between target inventories would not reset visible slots correctly
  • fixed a bug where you couldn't drag items between slots in the players inventory
  • fixed a bug where a notification would show that 0 items were added to the inventory upon harvest
  • fixed a bug with the font shaders that made fonts look blurry at small sizes and on bright backgrounds
  • fixed a bug where you could interact with placed items from far away
